When sourcing standard polyester or nylon, mega-mills often only offer generic, off-the-shelf fabrics. When you need unique natural-synthetic blends, synthetic mills can't deliver. On top of this, brands constantly worry if their water-repellent treatments comply with tightening global PFAS bans.

Your design shouldn't be limited by factory capabilities. We supply premium 100% polyester and nylon performance fabrics, but we also excel in rare, complex blends of natural and synthetic fibers. Furthermore, all our water-repellent treatments use PFC-Free (C0) chemistry and are OEKO-TEX® and GOTS certified, ensuring your products are globally compliant and market-ready.

We understand that brand development requires flexibility. Our standard fabric MOQ is 1,000 yards per color / 3,000 yards per order. For initial testing, we accommodate smaller runs (subject to a small lot surcharge). For high-volume bulk orders, we offer highly competitive, tiered pricing to optimize your production costs. For garment manufacturing (FOB), our MOQ starts at a manageable 300 pieces per style, perfectly aligning with seasonal development cycles.
Assuming base yarns are in stock, fabric sampling takes about 40-45 days, and bulk fabric production takes 60-70 days. For garments, sampling takes around 30 days, and bulk production takes 50-60 days. To ensure premium quality and ample time for adjustments, we strongly recommend initiating your seasonal development at least 6 months in advance.
100% of our fabric R&D and production takes place in Taiwan, ensuring world-class quality control. For garments, we recommend manufacturing boutique orders (under 1,000 pieces) locally in Taiwan. For larger volume orders requiring more aggressive pricing, we partner with our certified overseas garment factories—facilities we have long-standing, trusted relationships with through our fabric export business.

For garment development, provide your design sketches, Tech Packs, or measurement charts. If you have reference samples, please send those along as well—this helps us provide the most accurate assessment and quotation.
Our C0 DWR treatments offer exceptional durability, depending on the base material:
• Natural Staple Fibers (Cotton, Linen, Wool, Silk): Standard rating is 90/100 before washing, maintaining a solid 70-80 rating after 5 washes.
• Synthetic Filament Fibers (Nylon, Polyester): Standard rating is 90/100 before washing, maintaining a high 70-80 rating even after 20 washes.
Garment production lines in Taiwan rarely feature seam-taping equipment, making local production highly expensive. However, if your hard-shell project meets a minimum of 3,000 pieces per style, we can manage the production through our specialized overseas factory partners who are fully equipped for high-volume, seam-taped manufacturing.
Absolutely. Hermin operates an in-house physical and chemical testing laboratory. During development and bulk production, we can test key metrics (e.g., W/P & M/VP, shrinkage, colorfastness, tensile strength) to ensure everything is on track. If your brand requires official certification from third-party agencies (like ITS or SGS), we can facilitate the testing process (third-party testing fees will be billed separately) to ensure your products meet the highest international standards.
